While I appreciate seahorse listening to the complaints (and even responding), the update to fix the update is still a mess. Im not deleteing yet as this used to be a great game and Im hoping that they eventually go back to square one. Ill add one star for their effort but the game is unsightly (color scheme - annoying moving clock!?) and my scores are gone, gone, gone, (sigh)...I really would prefer my $ back than this. ••• Please make a classic mode. I paid for this app and now cant stand it. Layout is cluttered, cards are harder to read -and blue? Please, please fix this once favorite app! I had a top 25 score and now cant even be bothered to look at top scores. Please, please fix this. I cannot be the only one bummed by this obtrusive, unnecessary update. Fingers crossed...

UPDATE: The classic theme is a step in the right direction, and Ive added a star for that, but my 5 star rating wont return until we get the full previous interface back. This new theme is a lot better, but retains too much of the gawd awful "improved" UI of the last update. Ive had this app about as long as Ive had my iPhone, and it is by far my most-played game. This allegedly "improved" interface is horrible to the point that I cant imagine how they thought it was a good idea. Adding sounds for the sake of having sounds. "Mystery meat" navigation (the line chart icon is for scores -- the bar chart icon turns out to be for options -- huh? The whole new interface feels more like something from a 1982 shareware game than an iPhone app. The core of the gameplay idea remains great. And I like the new "Lucky Sevens" scoring bonus. But I just cant play it with this new interface. I pretty much dont review anything, but Im here in hopes of persuading them to go back to the old interface, add the new bonus, fix the few bugs, and let us all get back to playing what used to be a great game.

Please bring back the whole layout of the first version!!!

Update: I havent reviewed this app in about a year, but the latest incarnation is darned near perfect. Very readable and playable, and for those who like the old layout better, the ability to choose between the two. Still a five-star game! WELL worth the $2. I still play it nearly every day. Thanks to the developer of the game for being so responsive to customer feedback. I really got used to the "new game" button being in the pop-up window, and have resisted upgrading for that reason. Im glad its returning! I play this game every day... its highly addictive!

Added a star for effort, however there is still a moustache on the Mona Lisa. Full reversion to previous interface is needed. This is a thinking mans math game and the shaking clock is driving me nuts!!!!

Updated to add: while i appreciate the classic layout, its still not as good as the original. Ah, why mess with such a good thing? Ill give it 5 stars if/when you return it to the original. Ill even forgive the fact that my top scores (last I checked, I had a top 10 score) have DISAPPEARED.

This was my favorite game until the new interface update. Its horrible to play with now. Please go back to the old layout. This developer is constantly having to undo updates due to poor UI decisions.

This is far and away my favorite game on the Touch for two years now. Would love to see it upgraded for the ipad. I hated the UI change, but if you switch to classic view its the great old game. Buy it!

This is a classic standby. I find the new layout makes the dealt cards in upper right corner out of the line of vision. It needs to be in alignment with playing hands.

This is a GREAT 21 game and so much fun!!! THANKS to the developers for a nice well polished game and works so nice on my iPhone and iPad. Nice update!!

Does it only go to the 3rd level then you have to start over? I have the full version

Love love love this game. So addicting!

The original set up was classic. It was so addicting and fun. Every update from then on completely ruined the game. I had 7 friends that were completely addicted to this game until they ruined it with updates. We all used to break our own top 10 lists but then it disappeared with updates. None of us play this game at all anymore. It gets old fast so if you find this credible at all, youll download the lite version and never pay for a game that gets worse with updates. If there was ANY way I could go back in time, Id never have downloaded the updates. A complete disaster.

The person criticizing the interface in place for a number of years must be a seahorse software person. The products interface is nicer and richer than the original, and if the audience fizzled is because simply this game is no intended for the massive kind if audience of an "angry birds" game. Yes you hooked the lite version to Game Center and simplified the interface. You destroyed it!!!. Do you have a usability lab? Did you conduct a single focus group? Do not destroy the paid version introducing here the crap you put in the light version.

Easy to learn, impossible to master.

Wish I had the older version. Things like touching anywhere on the screen to start the next round. Tapping the card to skip and its harder to tell once youve got enough points for a round without really looking at the score.

I used to really enjoy this game but the recent update is horrible! The colors are terrible.., the layout is awful!

4/15 update: The new version is even worse than their v2. No option to have the original look or layout. This now looks like a Windows app. The developer really needs to undo their "improvements" and give us the option of the full look of the original layout. Until then- if I could give half stars I would. Unenjoyable in current form.

Enjoyed this great game from the earliest versions, but v2 was so terribly designed and laid out that after reinstalling v1 it alone was the reason I turned off automatic updates. Thankfully v3 restores the wonder of v1 with a beautiful interface and great new levels. The in-app purchases are unobtrusive (and not too expensive) and only needed to get to the top of the global scores list. The various levels give sufficient variety to keep the game amusing for hours or days.
