BlackJack Run Classic Premium App Reviews

First of all, this is a fun game...addicting. Now the bad...it crashes a lot. TWICE in the past 24 hours Ive set my all time high score, only to have the game crash both times. Neither score was recorded/saved...and it is P!SSING ME OFF!! FIX THE DAMN BUGS. I paid for this game to WORK!! We need less "fancy" backgrounds and more sound programming that prevents these sort of crashes. It is very frustrating to put your time into a game, only to have it lost due to a crash. It has happened on more than one occasion...too frequently.

Loved the lite version. Thought for five bucks this would offer something much more. Get the lite. This isnt worth more than two.

Summary: Excellent and addictive game; developer is responsive. Details: I am not much of a card player, but I enjoyed the lite version of the game so much that I decided to purchase this version. I have sent new feature requests to the developer (via the "About" panels button), and the developer actually responded, and the features eventually got into the product. Because of that, the "Best Scores" section has improved dramatically from keeping your own "top one" score to keeping your own "top ten" to also including a worldwide "top 25" and worldwide "top 50". Impressive continuous improvements. The developer seems to be responsive to others as well, as other new functions have shown up. I agree with one reviewer that this 1.7 version of the game sometimes crashes as it is attempting to submit your top score to the server. However, that has only happened to me twice in about 30 tries. And, based on my experience with this app, I suspect this problem will be addressed by the development team. They (or he?) seems to care about this product. Your $$ here is a good long term investment. Just my opinion.

The gameplay is fun and addicting, but the program is still buggy. More than once, Ive scored a local high score, but the game fails to record it. There are also issues when checking the high scores, then returning to the game and finding the score tallies unreadable. Repeated emails to the developers have yet to yield response. Yes, it is a fun game, but it needs some work.

Very fun game. Well worth the money. Well programmed. Has never crashed. Hours of fun!

Give me back old version and my high scores that were wiped out. This new layout is so bad!!

This update is terrible. Good thing I still have the old version backed up, because this new one is going straight into the trash.

I cant agree more with the other reviews. The older version was so good and now...Horrible!! The cards are so small ! Colors and layout are awful! Please keep the old version, it was so much better!

I used to play this regularly until the interface changed. Now its clunky and hard to tell what youre doing. Folks who paid for the old version should be able to use the old version. Poor decision to launch this change in my opinion.

This was my favorite time waster. The new version is pretty much unusable to me. Please let us know how to go back to the original version. Is there a way you can update the new version to have the same UI as the old?

I paid for this app a few months ago because I enjoyed playing the lite version, but now the new version is clunky, tacky looking, and seems like it was designed by a 9-year-old. On top of that, all my old local high scores are gone. This used to be one of my favorite games on the Iphone. Bring back a classic version or return my money.

This "update" in uterly perplexing. And terrible. For no apparent reason, the slick and clean interface everyone loved has been completely dumped in favor of something new that is ugly and hard to use. Mind bogglingly bad change - its almost like it was done by someone completely new who had never even seen the original game. Bad in every way and unplayable PLEASE RESTORE THE ORIGINAL GAME INTERFACE!!!

Omg, this was the best game on my phone and I played it constantly. But after the recent update, it has become unplayable. I am extremely disappointed. Is there any way I can get the old version back? Please? The new design is absolutely terrible.

I want the old UI back. The new one is ugly, tougher to use, and needless. Worst update ever.

Never been moved to review an app until now. Agree with everything posted about v2 except the guy that gave it 2 stars. What were you thinking, and why is it taking so long to give us v1.7 back?

Upgraded from free version quite a while back. Despite occasional quirks, this game got played every day. Avoid writing reviees unless I have something to add to the mix. Exception this tine. How miserably bad could an upgrade be? Please provide the previous version for loyal fans before this gets completely removd.

If only Id seen these reviews, I would have NEVER upgraded this app. The old version was much better. And what the heck is "mirror" scoring? Why isnt there a decent FAQ or link to detailed info/instructions? Big fail. But is the developer even hearing any of this? Do they care?

The new version/layout is terrible. Unless they revert, do not buy.

Its better now. Still not the 5 star game I bought. Why go thru all this trouble to ruin a great game. The old layout was sooooo much better. And I dont like the new Icon either. Please give me my old BJ run back
